The India vs Pakistan fixture of the World Championship of Legends (WCL), which was scheduled to be played today, has been called off amid widespread outrage over the match.
The organizers, left with no option following the withdrawal of several Indian legends like Harbhajan Singh, Yusuf Pathan from the match, issued a statement saying they unintentionally caused a uproar and hurting sentiments.
The WCL is a private tournament, which is sanctioned by the England and Wales Cricket Board.
