Delhi Capitals Lose Lungi Ngidi Ahead Of IPL 2024

Delhi Capitals have suffered another major blow ahead of the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL), starting from March 22.

South Africa pacer Lungi Ngidi has been ruled out from the tournament and Delhi Capitals has announced Australian all-rounder Jake Fraser-McGurk as a replacement.

Jake Fraser-McGurk, who has played two ODIs for Australia will join the Capitals for his reserve price of Rs 50 lakh.

Ngidi has not played since January after he suffered a left lateral ankle sprain during the T20I series against India. Ngidi also pulled out from the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

Harry Brook pulled out

England’s hard-hitting batman Harry Brook has also withdrawn from the IPL, citing personal reasons. The England cricketerwas purchased for Rs 4 crore by Delhi Capitals.
