Mumbai Indians all-rounder Hardik Pandya said that he was happy to able to contribute to his team’s success and is hopeful of MI winning the cup after a fantastic league performance in the Indian Premier League 2020.

Mumbai Indians are bidding to go one step closer to their 6th final when they take on 2nd-placed Delhi Capitals in the first Qualifier of IPL 2020 on Thursday. Hardik bats in the lower middle order for Mumbai and have been vital to Mumbai’s top-of-the-table finish in the league stage with 18 points. The biggest positive for Mumbai has been the return of skipper Rohit Sharma, who had missed four games to recover from a hamstring injury.

“The boys have played fantastically, can’t ask for more. We’ve been kind of slow starters always but touchwood this year has been a good ride so far. Working on my batting, and things are coming pretty well. It’s a matter of opportunity and it’s about what the team requires when I go to bat,” Hardik Pandya said in a video posted by Mumbai Indians.

“So far it’s looking good and I am just happy that we all are able to contribute in a way that everyone is chipping in at the right time. We’re getting the desired results as well. Now the crunch-time comes, the best leg of the league, and hopefully, we can get the cup,” Pandya added.
