While a lot of people have already ruled Chennai Super Kings out of the race for the IPL 2020 playoffs, the players in the team although admit that it is tough, but the belief that they can still make it if they all perform to the best of their abilities, is still there.

This season has been the worst for the CSK, one of the most successful teams with three IPL titles from 2010, 2011 and 2018.  Opening batsman Shane Watson said that the team was ready to push their limits and that they still believed that they can make it to the crucial playoffs.

“We will have to turn things around and play some incredible cricket over the next 4 games and a lot of other things will have to fall our way as well.

“But one thing that I can guarantee is that we will be pushing the limits at how good we can be.

“There is no reason that why we can’t go on a run and put everything together and build momentum from the start of the game and hold it,” the batsman said in his YouTube video titled ‘The Debrief’.

Watson also said that it was their fans for whom the team was willing to give in everything that they have left.

“We know that we have always got unconditional love and support from the CSK fans and we will be doing everything to repay that love and support,” the Australian added.
