Sri Lanka’s Colts Cricket Club Launches ‘Health Is Wealth’ theme amid Coronavirus Threat

As the entire world is battling against Coronavirus threat, Sri Lanka’s prestigious Colts Cricket Club has Launches it’s ‘Health Is Wealth’ theme to support in building a resilient and healthy community in this particular testing times.

In this noble attempt, the Club has launched a video featuring it’s international players like Angelo Mathews, Akila Dananjaya, Dilruwan Perera and Avishka Fernando and Sadeera Samarawickrama.

The video, that inspires to keep fit, healthy and strong with some simple, routine exercises amid the nationwide curfew due to Coronavirus threat, has been released in partnership with Club’s sponsor Fairfirst Insurance.

“It is to enlighten everyone of an exercise routine easily done at home during these days of curfew” the video highlights.

Earlier, Sri Lanka Cricket had postponed all domestic tournaments until further notice, and all its players and employees to remain indoors. The two-match Test series between Sri Lanka and England was also postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Former Sri Lanka skipper Kumar Sangakkara also revealed that he has kept himself in isolation after returning from England. Sangakkara, who is the current president of the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) decided to come back to Sri Lanka to help the government in fighting the coronavirus pandemic.
