Ahead of the 4th Test between India and Australia, Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison hosted the Indian and Australia cricket teams at his official residence, the Kirribilli House in Sydney, on the New Year’s Day. Virat Kohli and Tim Paine were present on the occasion with their team-members in full attendance.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) shared photographs from the event on its official Twitter account.

India are currently leading the four-match series 2-1. At the Melbourne Cricket Ground, India defeated the hosts by 146 runs to become the first Indian team to win two Test matches during a series Down Under. Kohli’s men are now eyeing to become the first India side to win a Test series Down Under. The fourth Test of the series will kick off on January 3.
