Former Indian skipper Kapil Dev, in an interaction with NDTV, spoke about MS Dhoni’s legacy, Virat Kohli’s captaincy and about Indian women’s chances of winning the World T20 title. In one of the many points he said regarding Dhoni, Kapil opined that people should not expect Dhoni to be the 20-year-old that he once was.

He further said that age is catching up in his game, however, his contribution to Indian cricket is must be applauded.

“I think whatever he has done, he’s done a great job. But I think the bad part is we are expecting the same 20 or 25 years old Dhoni, which is not going to work,” Kapil Dev said.

“I think he is a special person, a special player. I think certain people are special and he is one of them. The people who have talent and are ready to work hard they become superhuman. So I think he is talented and disciplined and that makes him what he is.”
