ICC Anti Corruption Unit Questions SLC Hemal Mendis

The Anti Corruption Unit Officials of International Cricket Council (ICC), on Monday, questioned Sri Lanka Cricket Board (SLC) head of provincial coaches Hemal Mendis, Cricket Age reliably learns.

According to sources, three Anti Corruption Unit officers questioned Hemal Mendis in the morning today and took his mobile phones under their custody.

Hemal Mendis has been associated with SLC as the head of provincial coaches and was always suspicious due to his mysterious activities.

“Even though, he was the head of provincial coaches, he made lot of mysterious tours to India” one insider told Cricket Age.

The Anti Corruption Unit officials are in Sri Lanka since last few days and have questioned lot of suspects. Few days ago, they questioned one former fast bowler and took his mobile phones under their custody.
