Faf Du Plessis led South Africa have arrived in Colombo ahead of the two-match Test series against Sri Lanka starting in Galle on July 12th. The training and media schedule for the week is as follows:
Thursday, July 5th
South Africa will hold a training session at the R. Premadasa stadium in Colombo from 10 AM – 1 PM.
A player will be made available to the media after practice at approximately 1:30 PM. Media are advised to arrive early.
Friday, July 6th
South Africa will hold a training session at the R. Premadasa stadium in Colombo from10 AM – 1 PM.
Faf du Plessis, Ottis Gibson and Dr Mohammed Moosajee will address the media at the official team welcome ceremony at the team hotel at 6 PM.
Saturday, July 7th
Day 1 of two-day warm-up match against a Sri Lanka XI
Sunday, July 8th
Day 2 of two-day warm-up match against a Sri Lanka XI
Monday, July 9th
Travel day to Galle
