Sri Lanka Cricket Board (SLC) Interim Committee, headed by Thilanga Sumathipala, has appointed A Five-member Elections Committee at the SLC’s Extraordinary General Meeting on Saturday, to conduct Sri Lanka Cricket elections to be held on 31 May.
In April, Sports Minister Faizer Mustapha has denied SLC to conduct AGM, referring to the absence of Election Committee.
Cricket Age has also learned that some of the top officials of Sumathipala team won’t be considered for the next election. The notorious and controversial assistant secretary of SLC Ravin Wickramaratne is the one among those.
