Asanka Gurusinha To Remain Sri Lanka Team Manager For West Indies Tour

Asanka Gurusinha, the member of Sri Lanka World Cup winning Team in 1996, to remain as the manager of the national team for the three test match series against West Indies, Cricket Age learns.

Gurusinha had been removed as the team Manager after Sri Lanka’s poor showing in the Nidahas trophy, where they had failed to qualify for the final even.

However, Sri Lanka Cricket Board (SLC) Couldn’t finalize his successor, As Country’s Sports Minister Faizer Mustapha Asked an explanation from the board over the suspension of Assistant Secretary Ravin Wickramaratne, who was lobbying for the manager post.

Sri Lanka to play three test against West Indies. The tour will kick off on May 30 with a tour match at Tarouba, while the first test to be played at Port Of Spain From June 6.
