After Cricket Age Exposes Ravin Wickramaratne, Sports Minister Send Letter To SLC For Explanation

In what could be termed as a major victory against corruption, After Cricket Age thoroughly exposed Sri Lanka Cricket Board (SLC) notorious and controversial Assistant Secretary Ravin Wickramaratne through the series of news on yesterday, Sports Ministry has sent a letter to The board and asked for the explanation.

On May 09, Cricket Age published how Ravin Wickramaratne reaping through benefits and manipulating things at SLC. Cricket Age exposed him in a series how he manipulated in order to send his friends for UAE tour, how he abused SLC sponsor’s during Nidahas trophy, how he he escaped any action from the board, even after Sports Ministry has declared him as the main culprit of domestic match fixing scandal.

On May 09, Cricket Age also exposed that former Sri Lanka player Chamara Silva has submitted an affidavit to SLC, in which he has claimed that Ravin Wickramaratne was the mastermind of the fixing Saga.

Cricket Age also sent all the news, proofs to Sports Minister Faizer Mustapha as well, for his consideration.

On yesterday night itself, Sports Minister sent a letter to SLC, and asked for the explanation on why action not taken to suspend Ravin.

“Ministry has sent a letter to SLC, asking for explanation on why action not taken to suspend Ravin” a top official of Sports Ministry told Cricket Age in term of animosity.

Now, it would be interesting to see, whether SLC takes action against Ravin Wickramaratne or not!
