ICC Anti Corruption Unit Summoned Ranjan Ramanayake

The Anti Corruption Unit of International Cricket Council (ICC) has summoned Sri Lanka politician-actor Ranjan Ramanayake over the match fixing saga, Cricket Age reliably learns.

Few days ago, Ramanayake claimed that a million dollar scam Of Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) could be worse than the government’s bond scam.

“The Bond Scam was in Sri Lanka Rupees, while this scam has been in Dollars” he said few days ago. He further revealed that the scam involved fixing of matches and broadcasting rights and some cricketers had provided him all the details.

Few months ago, former Sri Lanka fast bowler Pramodaya Wikramsenghe made allegations of match fixing during the ODI series against Zimbabwe in March 2017. The Anti Corruption Unit has been investing on the matter, and has thus far questioned Former Chief selector Sanath Jayasuriya and Current Shorter formats captain Angelo Mathews.
