Rain Threat Looms Over Sri Lanka-Bangladesh Match

Written by Rohit Pawar

Rain may play spoilsport during the third match of the Nidahas trophy between host Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, to be played at R. Premadasa Stadium on Saturday.

There were light drizzles till afternoon today. Even though, weather cleared after 4 PM, before the start of the match light showers returned once again.

Hosts Sri Lanka will aim to continue their domination against a beleaguered Bangladesh. The host team will be high on confidence going into their second game after they registered a comprehensive win over India in the tournament opener. Their recent record against Bangladesh is impressive, having beaten them in the away Test and T20 series besides the final of the tri-series, which also included Zimbabwe.
