Ashley De Silva Court Case hearing on January 5

Sri Lanka Cricket Board (SLC) Controversial CEO Ashley De Silva will have to appear in the next hearing of a case filed against him on January 5, Cricket Age learns.

It has learnt that A former lady employee of SLC has been fighting a case against Ashley De Silva. Ashley fired that lady employee on the behalf of SLC, by accusing her for misbehaviour, even though the lady was contracted with the board for two years.

In response, the lady has moved to court and lodged a case against her termination by naming Ashley and SLC.

According to sources, Ashley didn’t appear in last two hearings on 27th September and 2nd November by giving lame excuses. Now, court has ordered him to present in the next hearing on January 5.

Recently, Ashley De Silva became world famous after his historic statement, in which he said that SLC would like to change Captains series by series, in front of national media and newly appointed Captain Thisara Perera.
