Thilanga Sumathipala, the president of SLC, has appointed Aruna De Silva as the new Head of Cricket Administrations on today, Cricket Age learns.
In recent times Aruna has become the closest associate of Sumathipala, particularly after successfully organizing SLC Annual Awards last month.
It has learnt that Sumathipala has made this appointment to particularly neutralize Other heavyweights of SLC like treasurer Shammi Silva, Vice president K Mathivanan and Ashley De Silva.
According to sources, with the new reshuffle, Aruna will directly report to Sumathipala, while the entire SLC, except for Ashley De Silva, all other SLC administrators will be under him.
