Even though Virat Kohli was not in the best of forms during the T20I series against Australia, but he captained team India with aggression and authority, and pushed Australia on the back foot all the time.  Australian skipper David Warner also feels the Indian skipper keeps the team fired up with his aggression. Warner also believes that is helping team India succeed.

Warner, who has seen this Indian team from close quarters reckons Kohli plays a massive role in keeping this team in shape, both physically and mentally and he is indeed an inspirational captain for young Indian side.

After losing the ODI series 4-1, Australia were able to salvage the pride, by winning the second T20, to draw the series 1-1.

“Fantastic last 12 months for India. Credit to Virat Kohli’s leadership. His passion for the game is fantastic. He’s a player who steps up and gets his players fired up,” Warner told India Today.
