Sri Lanka players agree to play Lahore T20I

All the Sri Lanka players have agreed to play in Lahore T20I, Cricket Age has learnt.

In last two days, there were lot of reports regarding the concerns Sri Lanka players have about playing in Lahore. Approximately 28 players have written to SLC, about their reservations.

But, after ICC cleared the security concerns regarding the match and announced to send match officials, Sri Lanka players also mutually decided to play and support Pakistan Cricket.

“Today afternoon, one senior player spoke to all the players individually, and convince them to play” A player told Cricket Age.

” Though, all the players seek assurance of their safety from SLC” he added further.

In another major development today, The International Cricket Council (ICC) has also cleared his final evaluation on the security issue related to third t20I between Sri Lanka and Pakistan in Lahore.

The match is scheduled to be played on 29th October at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore.
