Rain Threat looms large over first t20 of India-Australia

Written by Toshi Pawar

In an unfortunate scenario, team India’s practice session on the eve of their first Twenty20 match against Australia was called off due to persistent showers. It is second time when team India couldn’t manage a practice session, after yesterday arrival.

“We came here and it started raining. We have not planned anything as of now. Once we practice, we will have an idea about the conditions,” team India speedstar Jasprit Bumrah said at the match-eve news conference.

“The rain is not in our hands. We think of what we can do. We will try to give our best effort,” he added.

After clinching ODI series 4-1, India is looking to extend its dominant over Australia in the three match t20 series as well.
