World Cup winning captain Arjuna Ranatunga wrote a letter to President regarding the sorry status of Sri Lanka cricket.
Kumar Sangakkara, playing in CPL, also gave an exclusive interview to a leading Sri Lanka newspaper to give his valuable thoughts on the current situation.
Mahela Jayawardene, on the other hand, has been constantly active on twitter and giving his thoughts.
But, when a female fan tried to cross the limit and accused all the former players, including Mahela, for just talking, he replied furiously.
“@MahelaJay We’ve had faith, a lot of faith. There is always a breaking point. You guys need to do something apart from tweeting !” a female fan asked Mahela.
“What do you want us to do? Jump up and down ☺️only way we can engage with public and give our thoughts is on social media” Mahela replied to the lady in response.
