India has done all right things to win Ranchi test

Written by Rohit Pawar

After the record breaking forth day against Australia in the third test at Ranchi, India seems favorite to win the match. Australia were tottering at 23/2 after 7.2 overs at stumps on day four with Jadeja cleaning up David Warner (14) and nightwatchman Nathan Lyon (2).

On a fifth day pitch, with cracks and rough patches everywhere, Jadeja would look to exploit the footmarks, something that has been the trademark of his career.

Australia too is warry of Jadeja’s challenge, as Australia coach Darren Lehmann admited that it would be a real challenge for his team comprising five left-handers to negotiate the left-arm spin of Ravindra Jadeja on the final day at Ranchi.

Australia are still needing 129 runs with eight wickets in hand to avoid an innings defeat.
